Blackberry

If you have 0 Attempts Remaining when trying to enter the code, it means that your phone has already been hardlocked and cannot be unlocked by code. Even if you correctly enter the code, phone will still say "Code Error, Please Wait...".

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry Bold (9000), 8800, 8820, Curve (8300, 8310, 8320), Javelin (8900), Gemini (8520, 9300), & Onyx (9700) Bold 2, 9780, 9650, 9100 Pearl:

Note: NO SIM is needed to unlock the phone. After phone is unlocked, remove the battery, insert SIM as desired and re-insert the battery. Phone MUST be restarted to use the new SIM card.

1) Power on
2) Go to Settings
3) Go to Options
4) Go to Advanced Options
5) Go to Sim Card
6) HOLD ALT and press: MEP2, if nothing comes up then try typing MEP4 (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
7) It will ask you for the unlock code. Enter it and then press trackball to confirm and your phone is unlocked!

How to enter the code on BlackBerry Torch 9850

1. Turn OFF your BlackBerry Torch 9850 & insert a SIM card to the Sim slot.

2. Turn ON your BlackBerry Torch 9850 & Go to "Manage Connections" > "Turn All Connections Off" to set all the connections (WIFI and Radio) off

3. Go to "Options" and select "Advanced Options"

4. On the "Advanced Options" menu select and press on "SIM Card".

5. Hold your BlackBerry Torch 9850 horizontally and click on the BlackBerry button to show keyboard

6. Type "MEPD" (The letters will not appear). and a menu will appear on screen (or try to type "MEPPD" instead).

7. Type "MEP2" and it will ask you to "Enter network MEP code". in case you dont get this screen repeat step 6 and on step 7 try "MEPP2" or "MEP4".

8. Type the unlocking code and Press "Enter".

9. You will see a message says "Code accepted", in case you get an error message - try to use the other code(s) in the same way.

10. Restart your BlackBerry Torch 9850 and turn ON the connections - your BlackBerry Torch 9850 is now unlocked!

 

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry Pearl (8100, 8110, 8120, 8220):

Note: Remove any SIM that is currently in the phone. After phone is unlocked, remove the battery, insert SIM as desired and re-insert the battery. Phone MUST be restarted to use the new SIM card.

1) Power on
2) Go to Settings
3) Go to Options
4) Go to Advanced Options
5) Go to Sim Card
6) HOLD ALT (Left side Below @) and press: mepp2 (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
7) It will ask you for the unlock code. Enter it and then press trackball to confirm and your phone is unlocked!

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry 8830:

Note: SIM is REQUIRED to unlock the phone. SIM card can be inactive, doesn't need to active. After phone is unlocked, remove the battery, insert SIM as desired and re-insert the battery. Phone MUST be restarted to use the new SIM card.

No AT&T/T-mobile Usage: This is a dual-band phone, it will NOT work in North America but will work fine in Europe, Asia, South America where they use the other set of frequencies.

1) Power on
2) Go to Settings
3) Go to Options
4) Go to Advanced Options
5) Go to Sim Card
6) HOLD ALT and press: mep2 (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
7) It will ask you for the unlock code. Enter it and then press trackball to confirm and your phone is unlocked!
Exception: If phone says Code Error and the attempts stay the same, start off with 10 attempts and still says 10 attempts after enter code, then continue with instructions, this is just a glitch on the phone.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry 8700/8700c/8700g:

Note: SIM is REQUIRED to unlock the phone. SIM card can be inactive, doesn't need to active. After phone is unlocked, remove the battery, insert SIM as desired and re-insert the battery. Phone MUST be restarted to use the new SIM card.

1) Power on
2) Go to Settings
3) Go to Options
4) Go to Advanced Options
5) Go to Sim Card
6) HOLD ALT and press: mepe (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
6) It will ask you for the unlock code. Enter it and then press jog dial to confirm and your phone is unlocked!

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry 7105t:

Note: SIM is REQUIRED to unlock the phone. SIM card can be inactive, doesn't need to active. After phone is unlocked, remove the battery, insert SIM as desired and re-insert the battery. Phone MUST be restarted to use the new SIM card.

1) Power phone on and turn off the radio (Turn Wireless Off option)
2) Go to Tools
3) Go to Settings
4) Go to Options and select Advanced Options
5) Go to SIM Card
6) Type "MEPPD" (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
7) HOLD ALT and press mepp2
8) Enter the Unlock Code
9) Press enter (press on Trackball)
10) Reboot device. Device is now unlocked

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry 7100/7130/7130c:

Note: Remove any SIM that is currently in the phone. After phone is unlocked, remove the battery, insert SIM as desired and re-insert the battery. Phone MUST be restarted to use the new SIM card.

1) Power on
2) Go to Settings
3) Go to Options
4) Go to Advanced Options
5) Go to Sim Card
6) HOLD ALT (Left side Below @) and press: mepp2 (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
7) It will ask you for the unlock code. Enter it and then press trackball to confirm and your phone is unlocked!

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Blackberry 5xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx (Except for 7100):

Note: After phone is unlocked, remove the battery, insert SIM as desired and re-insert the battery. Phone MUST be restarted to use the new SIM card.
1) Power on
2) Go to Options.
3) Scroll to SIM CARD then press jog dial in once to select it
4) HOLD ALT (Half moon key on the lower left side) and press: mepe (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
5) It will ask you for the unlock code. Enter it and then press jog dial once to confirm and your phone is unlocked!

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Blackberry Vodafone Storm (9500):

1) Turn off the phone
2) Need a SIM card inserted into the phone (Example: Verizon, At&t, T-mobile)
3) Turn on the phone
4) Go to Settings (Button that has dots next to green call button), Click on Manage Connections, Select 'Turn All Connections Off'
5) Press End Call (Red button)
6) Go to Settings, then Options, then Advanced Options, then SIM Card 7) Hit the Settings Button (Button that has dots next to green call button) and select 'Show Keyboard'
8) Type in mepd (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
9) Type in mep2 or mepp2 and another screen will pop-up prompting for the MEP code (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
10) Enter the code, Remember you ONLY have 10 chances to get it right
11) Press enter and your phone is unlocked!

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry Storm (9530, 9550, Storm 2):

1) Turn off the phone
2) Need a SIM card inserted into the phone (Example: Verizon, At&t, T-mobile)
3) Turn on the phone
4) Go to Settings (Button that has dots next to green call button), Click on Manage Connections, Select 'Turn All Connections Off'
5) Press End Call (Red button)
6) Inside Settings menu, Click Options, then Mobile Network, on the switch technology to 'Global' if that has not been done.
Exception: If phone prompts 'Would you like your Blackberry to automatically select CDMA or GSM based on network availability', select No.
7) Now click the Back Arrow Button (Next to the Red End Call button) and select Advanced Options and then SIM Card
8) Hit the Settings Button (Button that has dots next to green call button) and select 'Show Keyboard'
9) Type in mep2 or mepp2 and another screen will pop-up prompting for the MEP code (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
Exception: If nothing is prompting up and you are making sure you are selecting each button by press the screen in, do a wipe handheld to reset the phone to manufacturer default: http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=110075
10) Enter the code, Remember you ONLY have 10 chances to get it right
Exception: If phone says Code Error and the attempts stay the same, start off with 10 attempts and still says 10 attempts after enter code, then continue with instructions, this is a glitch on the phone
11) Press the Enter key (Button that looks like a backwards L arrow)
12) A message will appear saying Code Accepted
13) Turn device off by removing battery, insert SIM of your choice if have not done so already. Turning device is necessary even if you have SIM of choice inserted.
14) Turn the phone back on
15) Go to Settings, then Options, then Mobile Network, on the third row switch Network Technology to GSM/UMTS.
16) Press the Back Arrow Button to exit and save settings.
17) Return to the main screen by pressing End Call and you should see your phone getting signal
18) As a reminder, if you ever remove the SIM card from your phone, you will need to set the Network Technology as GSM/UMTS again

Issues:
1) If you have issues with the phone not recognizing the network, make sure the radio is on by making sure it is not low on power.
2) If you follow the above instructions and code is accepted with the Network Technology set to GSM/UMTS and still not working, it may be the SIM needs to be replaced with a newer SIM Card.

Removing "Activation Required" on the screen or changing the Phone Number:
1) On the main screen of the phone, press Call (Green Button)
2) Type on the screen: ##000000
3) Press the Call Button
4) For the Mobile Directory Number, put in your phone number in there
5) After you have done that, press the Menu Button to Save the options and the phone will automatically restart
6) After restarting, it will be updated

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry Tour (9630):

1) Turn off the phone
2) Need a SIM card inserted into the phone (Example: Verizon, At&t, T-mobile)
3) Turn on the phone
4) Go to Settings
5) Go to Options
6) Go to Advanced Options
7) Go to Sim Card
8) HOLD ALT and press: mep2 (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
9) Enter the code, Remember you ONLY have 10 chances to get it right
10) Enter it and then press trackball to confirm and your phone is unlocked!

How to Enter MSL Code on Sprint BlackBerry:

1) From the mainscreen of the BlackBerry, press the green call button to enter the phone
2) Type in ##MSLCODE then the green talk button (ie: ##123456 Green talk button)
3) In the CDMA service edit screen, delete the number in the first row (000000xxxx) and replace it with your current phone number
4) Press the menu key and choose save
5) The device will re-boot
6) When the device re-boots, Activation Required will be gone and the active carrier name will now appear

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry Torch 9800:

Note: NO SIM is needed to unlock the phone. After phone is unlocked, remove the battery, insert SIM as desired and re-insert the battery. Phone MUST be restarted to use the new SIM card.

If you received two unlock codes the first one is Unfreeze code (MCK). The second code is Network Unlock Code (NCK). If you received only one code from us it's a Network Unlock Code (NCK).

 If you received four unlock codes then: Network Code (NCK),  Unfreeze Code (MCK),  Subset Code (SCK),  Service Provider Code (SPCK).

Not Yet Personalized - If you see this message, it is another way of saying the phone is already unlocked.


How to remove Phone freeze

A frequent reason for Freeze Code to be enabled is when user enters several erroneous NCK codes.

If your cell phone shows a "Phone Freeze" message use the first code to unfreeze it. Enter the 8-digit code with SIM card in the phone when the "Phone Freeze" message is displayed, then press OK button (middle buttom, depending on phone branding can be called differently).
You will not see text appear on screen while typing.

You can now proceede to entering Network Unlock Code.

How To Fix Samsung A737 Phone Freeze:* 91906175 + OK. Enter the code WITH simcard inside the phone when "Phone Freeze" warning is displayed (no entered digits will be displayed).


How to enter Network Unlock Code

Samsung Z510, Z650, Z320i

  1. Power on without SIM card
  2. Type in **CODE# where CODE is the unlock code you received from us.


Samsung SGH-A257 Magnet

  1. Power on without SIM
  2. Type in #7465625*638*Unlock code# (8 digit unlock code*)
  3. Device should say: “Network Lock Deactivated”
  4. Phone may automatically reboot


Samsung Z105 and Z107

  1. Power on with a non accepted SIM card
  2. Type in #7465625*638*CODE# (or *#7465625*638*CODE#) where CODE is the unlock code you received from us.
  3. Press the SEND key, display should read, "Personalization Cancelled"



Samsung 3G series, D, Z-series, some A-, C-, E-, T-, X-series, other models

  1. Power on without SIM card
  2. Type in #7465625*638*CODE# (or *#7465625*638*CODE#) where CODE is the unlock code you received from us.
  3. Press the SEND key, display should read, "Personalization Cancelled"


Samsung i616 Jack or Blackjack2 from Fido Canada

1. Power ON your phone with a FIDO SIM Card that the phone is locked to
2. Type #7465625*638*
3. Network Lock Screen appear, enter UNLOCK CODE
4. Device is now unlocked



Samsung A886, T-349, T369,  T669, I9000 Galaxy S, i917 Focus, B3410

   1. Insert a not accepted SIM Card and turn ON your Samsung A886 Forever.

   2. Phone will ask for a "Password".

   3. Enter the Unlock CODE you received from Us.

Note: In some instances the Samsung A886 won't ask for "Password" - enter the unlock code anyway.

OR if phone shows "Insert Correct SIM card"

   1. Insert a not accepted SIM Card and turn ON your Samsung A886.

   2. Type in #0111*CODE# where CODE is the Unlock CODE you received from Us.

   3. Press the SEND key, display should read, "Personalization Cancelled".

   4. Your Samsung A886 is now unlocked!


Samsung T959, T359, T139

Method 1:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-T959 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Samsung SGH-T959 will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

OR (if the Samsung SGH-T959 shows "Insert Correct SIM Card")

Method 2:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-T959 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Don't bother about what's being displayed on your Samsung SGH-T959.
3 - Compose : #0111*CODE#.

If method 2 does not work, you can try method 2 again but this time without any SIM card on your Samsung SGH-T959.


Samsung S8500 Wave:

1. Power on without SIM
2. Type in #7465625*638*Unlock code# (8 digit unlock code*)
3. Device should say: “Network Lock Deactivated”
4. Phone may automatically reboot

 Samsung T479

Method 1:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-T479 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Samsung SGH-T479 will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

Method 2:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-T479 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2. Type in #7465625*638*Unlock code# (8 digit unlock code*)
3. Device should say: “Network Lock Deactivated”
4. Phone may automatically reboot
If method 2 does not work, you can try method 2 again but this time without any SIM card on your Samsung SGH-T959.


Other Samsung models

  1. Power on without SIM card
  2. Phone will ask for "Password"
  3. Enter the unlock code you received from us.

Note: In some instances the phone won't ask for "Password" - enter the unlock code anyway
OR if phone shows "Insert Correct SIM card"

  1. Power on with a non accepted SIM card
  2. Type in #0111*CODE# where CODE is the unlock code you received from us.
  3. Press the SEND key, display should read, "Personalization Cancelled"



i607 Blackjack
Power on with incorrect (non accepted) SIM card, when asked to enter network pin enter provided unlock code.
No need to hold other keys while entering code
If you are unable to connect to the service provider or unable to make out-going calls or receive messages, this has nothing to do with your phone being locked. You need to force the Blackjack to change to GSM mode:

    1. Power on the phone
    2. Enter *#1546792*#
    3. Select Option 3 Network & Call Settings
    4. Select Option 5 Network Mode
    5. Select GSM
How to Enter Unlock Codes on a BlackJack (i607/i617) or Jack i637

1) Power on with Incorrect SIM
2) Phone will prompt for Network Pin
3) Use Code provided and press OK

ERROR MESSAGE: WRONG PASSWORD or INVALID CODE - If you receive one of these messages when entering the code for the Blackjack, the phone is likely to be refurbished. In cases like these, unlocking of the phone by code cannot be done, only by machine. Many cell phone shops do carry hardware devices (NsPro Box) to remove the unlock from the phones.

NOTE: If you are unable to connect to service provider or unable to make out going calls or recieve messages, this has nothing to do with your phone being locked or not, you need to force the BlackJack to change to GSM mode, this can be done as follows:
1) Power on your Phone
2) Enter *#1546792*#
3) Select Option 3 Network & Call Settings
4) Select option 5 Network Mode
5) Select GSM

Quickfire

  1. Power off device and remove AT&T SIM card
  2. Insert SIM Card from another wireless carrier
  3. Power on the handset
  4. With the device in Portrait mode, tap the phone icon
  5. Dial *#865625# to enter the unlock code menu
  6. Display now says "TO UNLOCK SIM ENTER UNLOCK CODE CORRECTLY. FIVE (5) TIMES WILL RESULT IN THE PERMANENT LOCK OF YOUR PHONE CONTINUE?"
  7. Enter the 15-digit code given to you by, then tap DONE. If you entered an incorrect code, you will see the following message: "INCORRECT LOCK CODE" "INCORRECT UNLOCK CODE TRY AGAIN"
  8. If the code is correct, tap on DONE. The handset is now successfully unlocked

 

HP iPAQ


iPAQ 6320, 6325, 6510, 6515

  1. Power on phone with a non-original SIM card inserted
  2. Wait approximately 30 seconds until the SimLock application appears (the delay may be longer if the user has previously attempted to unlock with the wrong code)
  3. Enter your unlock code when prompted by the phone
  4. Press OK
  5. If the unlock code is correct, a success dialog will appear. Press OK

If the unlock code is incorrect, an error dialog will appear. After pressing OK, the user has to re-enter the unlock code after a delay (see above in Device Specific Information)

iPAQ 6315

  1. On the Today screen, tap Start > Settings
  2. Tap the Phone band icon and choose " North America" or "Europe" or "Asia" phone band depending on where you are
  3. Tap the keyboard icon to open the virtual keyboard
  4. Tap Shift and then Ctl key to enable the keys
  5. Tap the blank area below the band selection box to open the unlock tool
  6. Tap Shift and then Ctl to disable the keys
  7. Enter the unlock code you received from us, and tap OK when done
  8. Wait for the device to validate the unlock code (about five seconds). You will see one of the following screens:
    "Unlock successful"
    The device is now unlocked and should continue booting.

    "Unlock failed due to incorrect code"
    The user has three attempts to unlock. After three attempts, the device will refuse any more unlocking attempts. Perform a soft reset to reset the counter to perform additional unlocking attempts.

    "Your phone is not ready for unlocking"
    This error message displays when the user tries to unlock when the phone application (not the device) is not in a steady state. It takes 30 seconds after powering on the phone for it to reach a steady state.

Palm One


Treo 650, 680

  1. Power on phone with a non-original SIM card inserted
  2. Turn wireless off
  3. It will then say "Your phone cannot be used with this SIM card" ("SIM not allowed" in case of Treo 650). Click OK
  4. Click dialpad tab, bottom of the screen far left
  5. Using stylus enter *#*#unlock code# and press the green button
  6. It will say "The sim lock has been removed from your phone"
  7. Your phone is unlocked


Treo 750

  1. Power on phone with a non-original SIM card inserted
  2. Turn wireless off
  3. Using onscreen keyboard enter the supplied unlock code
  4. Your phone is unlocked

Sony Ericsson


All models

  1. Power on your phone without SIM card or with Original one
  2. Press joystick left once
  3. Press * twice
  4. Press joystick left once
  5. Phone will say "Personalize with MNC2" or "Personalized with MNC3"
  6. Wait approximately 5 seconds
  7. The display will indicate "Network" and a picture of a closed padlock
  8. Press Select
  9. The display will indicate "Unlock (Net) 5" and "NCK:"
  10. You can now enter the supplied unlock code
  11. Phone will display "Network unlocked" and then "Insert SIM" message
  12. Your phone is unlocked

    If your phone has a jogdial press it down instead of joystick left.

Model : LG Incite CT-810 and IP-540x
  • Insert a SIM from the original network
  • 2945#*810# will show the unlock menu
  • Enter unlock code

Model : LG KP265
  1. Use Original SIM to switch ON the Phone.
  2. Compose 2945#*265#
  3. Then go to MENU > SETTINGS > SECURITY
  4. Then go to SIM LOCKS > NETWORK > DESACTIVATE
  5. ENTER NCK (your Unlock Code)

Model : LG ME550
  1. Use Original SIM to switch ON the Phone.
  2. Compose 2945#*71101#. 
  3. Menu will appear, go to settings > security > sim lock
  4. Enter NCK ( Unlock Code ) and press OK.

Model : LG TU915
  • Switch ON your phone with an allowed SIM Card
  • Then compose: 2945#*9701#
  • It should you ask you for the code.

OR

Enter *#865625# then enter your 16 digits code.

Model : LG KF390 and KF390q
  1. Insert a SIM Card from the network the mobile is locked to and turn it on
  2. Insert the following sequence *#865625#;
  3. Select 'Unlock USIM'
  4. Select 'Network Lock'
  5. Insert the unlock code
  6. Select ok. Done!

Model : LG Prada, KE850 :
  1. Switch the telephone on with Original SIM card inside.
  2. Enter SIM pin if required.
  3. Enter 2945#*8501# and press the call button (middle button bottom of the screen).
  4. SIM unlock mode will appear on screen.
  5. Enter unlock code
  6. Select Reboot.
  7. Switch phone off, and then turn back on again. Phone is now unlocked

Model : LG CT810
  1. insert original sim card and turn phone on.
  2. Enter 2945#*810#
  3. A menu will pop up, select sim unlock
  4. Enter your unlock code and press ok
  5. The phone will then reboot and the unlock is complete.

Model : LG VU CU915 & CU920

Enter the 8 digit unlocking code. Press OK. If the unlocking code comes with only 7 digits, add a 0 in front of the 7 digit code. If the unlocking code comes with only 6 digits, add 00 in front of the 6 digit code.

  • It should give you the message Success.
  • Come back to the main screen and Enter 2945#*88110#.

Switch your phone off, take battery out. Put battery back in. Power on the phone and leave it for 40 minitues to 5 hours until the message "Enter NETWORK PUK" is gone. Now enter the code received from us and 00000000 (eight zero's) as a new password.

If phone is asking for SERVICE PROVIDER PUK

  1. Power on the phone with the original card in and wait till phone is fully powered on and you have access to menu
